New albums: Sopor Aeternus, Sol Invictus, ohGr

Ο δίσκος κυκλοφόρησε χθες, υπάρχει μάλιστα και μια ιδιαίτερα πλούσια έκδοση σε πολυτελές κουτί που περιλαμβάνει το cd, ένα dvd, βιβλίο , t-shirt και διάφορα άλλα καλούδια με κόστος περίπου 60 ευρώ. Παρακάτω μπορείτε να δείτε και το νέο τους βίντεο για το τραγούδι "Ιt is Safe to Sleep Alone", το οποίο είναι σύνθεση του Angelo Badalamenti και της Marianne Faithfull. H πρώτη εκτέλεση του τραγουδιού είχε τίτλο Sleep και υπάρχει στο album της Marianne Faithfull "A Secret Life". Ομολογώ ότι μου άρεσε πολύ... Tέλος, αξίζει να ακούσετε και πως έκανε το holding out for a hero της Bonnie Tyler ή το hello του Lionel Ritchie..εχμμ...

Συνεχίζουμε με τη νέα δουλειά των Sol Invictus, το apocalyptic-folk συγκρότημα του Tony Wakeford (πρώην Death In June). To καινούριο άλμπουμ έχει τίτλο The Cruellest Month και θα κυκλοφορησει στις 10 Ιουνίου 2011, έξι ολόκληρα χρόνια μετά την τελευταία τους δισκογραφική προσπάθεια.Το δελτίο τύπου μιλάει για επιστροφή στις ρίζες, δεν το έχω ακούσει για να έχω άποψη, αλλά περιλαμβάνει και κάποιες διασκευές σε παλιά παραδοσιακά τραγούδια, μεταξύ των οποίων και η διασκευή στο κλασσικό Cruel Lincoln του Andrew King. Τέλος, στην δισκογραφία επιστρέφουν και οι Καναδοί ohGr, το side-project των Ogre και Mark Walk από τους Skinny Puppy. Το νέο τους album αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 10 Μαίου 2011 από την Reybee Productions και έχει τίτλο unDeveloped. Σύμφωνα με τον Ogre o τέταρτος δίσκος τους διακατέχεται από ένα soft theme of distorted sexuality, θεατρικό, χορευτικό και βιομηχανικό ταυτόχρονα. Κλασσικό ohGr δηλαδή...
