Tον δρόμο των Slowdive ακολουθεί άλλο ένα από τα δυνατά ονόματα της shoegaze σκηνής και της Creation Records, μια και οι Ride ανακοίνωσαν και επίσημα ότι θα είναι ξανά μαζί. Η ανακοίνωση για το reunion συνοδευτηκε με το πλάνο της Αγγλικής τουρνέ που θα ξεκινήσει τον Μάιο, καθώς και εμφανίσεις σε άλλες χώρες (λίγες για την ώρα) συμπεριλαμβανομένου βέβαια και ενός show στο επερχόμενο Primavera της Βαρκελώνης.
Σύμφωνα με τον Paul Gardener δεν υπάρχουν ακόμα σχέδια για νέο άλμπουμ, αλλά πιθανότατα κάτι τέτοιο να συμβεί όταν ξεκινήσουν οι πρόβες μια και πάντα οι ιδέες γενιούνται στο στούντιο.. Αναλυτικά τα ως τώρα επιβεβαιωμένα shows των Ride:
