O νέος δίσκος των Killing Joke! |

 Πριν 1μιση χρόνο τους είχαμε πάρει μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα συνέντευξη και τους είδαμε σε ένα πραγματικά δυνατό Live με την αυθεντική τους σύνθεση στην Αθήνα, φέτος κυκλοφορούν το 15ο studio αλμπουμ τους, το οποίο θα λέγεται 2012... Για την ακρίβεια το όνομα του δίσκου είναι MMXII, μια και οι Killing Joke αρέσκονται στους λατινικούς χαρακτήρες, και αναμένεται στις 2 Απριλίου 2012 από την Spinefarm/Universal σε itunes, CD και διπλό χρωματιστό βινύλιο...
Oι ίδιοι οι Killing Joke περιγράφουν τη νέα τους δουλειά ως death-disco με τεράστια στρώματα από κιθάρες ( "a dense and multi-layered work. Killing Joke have never sounded so
intense. The songs are great washes of sound -a death disco with huge
slabs of guitar that soundtracks these dangerous times.") ενώ ο Jaz Coleman περιγράφει την σημασία του 2012 ως τίτλου του album:
"It's in many different calendars - the great unveiling, the sky and the
earth coming together. It's a significant date. In the autumn, there is a
major planetary alignment, and on that day I'm doing this rock
festival, ‘A Party At The End of The Earth', which is going to be in New
Zealand. Everything is speeding up. It's not just our minds shrinking.
We are heading towards the Eschaton and no-one really knows what's going
to happen."
